The DMK, led by Chief Minister MK Stalin, is in second position with around 58 seats, while the AIADMK trails with approximately 47 seats. TVK's C. Joseph Vijay is contesting from both Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East constituencies. West Bengal has 294 Assembly seats with a majority mark of 148. The BJP has crossed the majority mark decisively, leading in approximately 195 seats. The ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) led by Mamata Banerjee is trailing with around 93 seats.
